Me In A Minute
My former persona as a virtual singer
Active in China’s ACG music scene under the name Aoqiye (傲七爷) since 2017, I first appeared as a custom virtual persona characterized by golden eyes, a ginkgo-shaped huadian (traditional Chinese forehead ornament), long silver-tipped hair, and gold-accented accessories.
Between 2017 and 2019, my work primarily centered on Chinese-style music and ACG song covers, visually inspired by traditional Chinese feminine aesthetics.
After revealing my real identity on Douyin in 2023 and shifting toward pop music production, the use of my virtual image gradually diminished. However, I continue to reinterpret and adapt the original character design when collaborating with ACG vocalists, maintaining a creative dialogue with the culture that shaped my early artistic journey.
P4 features a 2024 duet cover with a male ACG singer, presenting a modernized version of my original persona reimagined with contemporary pop elements.
